Literature Text

Stars kiss the dark purple sky,
The sun carreses the bright blue
heavens,

So much love out there,
so why can't it be shared
with me?

The boy whispers in her ear,
The girl turns and embraces
him back,

The flowers swoon in the wind,
playfully flirting with the bees.

So much love out there,
so why can't it be shared with me?

The elderly couple sit and talk on
the bench their heads touching as
they laugh and think of
younger times.

The birds declaring their love for
each other in their sweet song.

So much love in the world,
can't some of it be shared with me?

I wish for someone to hold me,
for someone to tell me they care,
I long for someone to show me things,
I never knew existed.
I wish for someone to love me.

As the doves dance in the sky,
so perfectly white against dark blue canvas,
I look above and pray.

As the snowflakes tumble down
from the heavens,
and then melt once they touch the ground,
I look above and pray.

For someone to love me.

I wish for someone to hold me,
for someone to tell me they care,
I long for someone to show me things,
I never knew existed.
I wish for someone to love me.
hee hee.

Wow, this is amazing ^^
There are so many times in life when you feel
unloved. It must be such a common feeling, the exapmles
you used in your poem therefore really fit. *faves*
